About me

I am John Hund and I have been working as a photographer for over 45 years. Most recently I have been focused on all aspects of sports photography. This includes action shots, candids, posed shots, team shots and creating banners, graphics, trading cards etc.

While my sports work has primarily been for high school and youth sports, I have also done work covering college basketball, including NCCA Regional Tournament games, and the NIT Championship game at MSG. Shooting Seton Hall basketball, FDU basketball, Georgian Court University Soccer, Sacred Heart University football, basketball and soccer, and Bloomfield College basketball. I have also covered NY Giants Football.

Previous work included editor/photographer for a trade publication and staff photographer for a small newspaper, school yearbook photographer, weddings, capturing proposals and engagements for couples, and capturing fireground activity. My work has ben featured in publications and websites for the Bergen Record, NorthJersey.com, NJ.com, TAPinto, Worrall Publications, Fire Engineering Magazine, FMBA BULLETIN, and more.

I currently shoot for a local high school and also do some freelance work for several local online hyperlocal news websites. I am expanding my business to include providing Game Action – Media Days - Team & Individuals - Custom Player Graphics - Banners and more. I also provide images to a stock photo site.
